Job Description

• Recommending changes to construction methods or materials to improve safety standards
• Providing design services for public works projects such as roads, bridges, airport terminals, schools, hospitals, prisons, recreational facilities, etc.
• Consulting with clients to determine project needs and goals, then developing conceptual designs that meet those needs
• Preparing drawings and other documents required for bidding and construction of a project
• Developing plans to repair or replace existing structures or infrastructure, such as bridges and roads
• Preparing construction plans that include drawings of the project design, materials used, and details about construction methods
• Preparing design details such as grading plans, traffic flow charts, or plumbing
• Provide technical engineering information to ensure compliance with all LTA’s requirements.

Requirements

• Possess degree in Civil Engineering from recognized by professional Engineering Board
• 5 years’ of relevant local working experience in the design of vehicular structures and road projects
• Proficient in MS Office, MS Project, AutoCad/BIM
• Preferably with driving license

Quantity Surveyor

Job Description

• Liaise with the client, site manager, project manager and site engineers
• Prepare and carry out budgetary control
• Price/forecast the cost of the different materials needed for the project
• Select or source construction materials
• Able to prepare cost estimation, quantity take off and cost evaluation
• Responsible for progress claim, VO and finalisation of accounts and sub-con progress claim
• Attending to all relevant administration and documentation for the project

Requirements

• Experience in tender preparation/ measurement
• Good organization and communication skills
• Bilingual in English and Mandarin in order to liaise with Chinese speaking client
• At least 3 to 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is prefer

Wsh Coordinator

Job Description

• Assist WSH Officer on safety and health matters on project site.
• Execute appropriate safety measurements in accordance with the Workplace Safety & Health Act.
• Liaise closely with operations staff, Project Managers, clients, main contractors, consultants and authority etc. on all afety and health issues.
• Assist WSH Officer in accident / incident reporting and investigations as well as hold toolbox meeting and all WSH matters execution.
• Coordinate and maintain records of safety orientation and daily toolbox meetings.
• Ensure safe work practices are adhered to by all parties in the daily site activities.
• Perform daily inspection to ensure compliance to prevailing MOM regulations and Company ISO & OSHAS policies.
• Attend to all feedbacks on safety irregularities and inform the WSH Officer accordingly.
• Enforce all safety legislation and in-house safety rules and regulations.
• Ensure supervisors and workers are following the safe work procedures compliance.
• Assist WSH Officer to liaise with relevant authority during visiting / complain or feedbacks if necessary.
• Detect safety violation and report to WSH Officer
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the Management and the designated manager.

Requirements

• Possess a Certificate in Safety Coordinators Course from approved institutes.
• At least 3 years of working experience in construction.
• A good team player with good communication skills and multi-tasking.
• Computer literate with MS Word, Excel, Power Point etc.
